Panasonic Electric Works Fire & Security Technology Europe AB, Malmö - Sweden, is a company that was founded in April 1999. The operation sprung out of a more than 20 year long co-operation between Swedish companies, initially TeleLarm AB that was acquired by Securitas and continued the relation with PEW. The products have been jointly developed and sold in both Europe and lately in China.
PEW took over the total responsibility for the products and started the operation in Sweden. The company develops software for the fire alarm controls panels for the whole group and complete systems for the European market. The systems are sold via distributors, which have sales, installation, after sales and product management organisations of their own. The majority of employees are involved in the research and development.
